On December 10, 1953, Law N° 14.294 (through the initiative of President Juan Domingo Peron) declared the National Territory of Misiones to be an Argentine Province.  Militariarg has the pleasure of presenting the following photo album which belonged to a doctor of the Gendarmeria during the same period.  This series of photos shows the styles of living, modes of transportation and the determination of those like this doctor to reach the remote populations.
